About Vendetta

Vendetta is an Australian Heavy Rock band formed by Mick Kee in Geelong, Victoria in 1996.

With Influences such as Black Sabbath, Ac/dc, Sex Pistols, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Body Count, Ugly Kid Joe & Sepultura (just to name a few) the band's sound is a melting pot of old school heavy metal mixed with hard rock influences and delivered with an in your face punk rock attitude.

For over 20 years Vendetta have been delivering their brand of street-level heavy rock to audiences across Australia. The band made their live debut at the Pako Fest Battle of the Bands on Sunday the 2nd of March 1997, since then Vendetta have played countless Pubs & Clubs, AA Shows, Interstate shows and even a hometown Arena show on the band's 10th Anniversary. In September 2008 Vendetta made their live TV debut appearing on Channel 31's 'Asylum TV'. Over the years the band have shared stages with bands such as The Butterfly Effect, Dreadnaught, The White Room, The Red Shore, Teramaze, Dreamkillers, The Badloves, Nick Barker and many more.

Vendetta have released 3 albums, 2 ep's, 2 DVD's and 5 demo CD's as well as having their music appear on various compilation CD's released around the world. The band's debut album 'Underground Thunder' was released on the 10th anniversary of the band and features re-recordings from the first decade of the band's history (these songs had previously been released on various demo/compilation CD's as demo versions only). This album also went to number 1 on the mp3.com.au Metal charts witin days of it's release. The band's second album 'Backstab' was released in 2011 and this album spawned the band's debut video clip for the song 'Demon's Mind'. This video clip was played on various TV shows such as 'The Hard Rock Show' & 'Underground Sounds' as well as the track 'March' being played a few times on Triple M (marking the bands first commercial radio airplay). in 2017 Vendetta released their latest album titled 'Devolve'.
